What does it mean for us to live in a fallen world that was ruined by our first parents and us in and through them? Said another way, as those who have been given a wonderful promise of triumph by the promised descendant of Eve, what will life look like as we live in the hope of Christ's triumph. What we learn from our passage is that though Christ has promised us full victory in the work of Christ, we still have been promised much defeat and misery in this life. (Ge 3:16-19)
