There are many things that we can find our identity in. We can look at ourselves as righteous and good, or standing up for what is just and right. We can also seek to be the best form of ourselves in order to validate who we are. Ultimately, our identity needs to be rooted in the gospel, faithful love being given to unfaithful people. Above all else, the life we live needs to be defined by the life Christ lived for us, and the death He died to redeem us.(Ps 36:1-12)
