Son of God as Son of Adam

"And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us." The living God came down and put on flesh. But why? To live in our place perfectly, to die a death that would not only atone for our sins and free us from bondage, but that he would impute his righteousness to us so that all who believe in him would be reconciled to God by Jesus's resurrection from the dead! The closing verses of the Apostle John's gospel is just the surface of one of the most deepest and richest theological passages that tell us the reason we have a nativity story in the first place. God came down and put on flesh, the greatest introduction to the story of redemption through Jesus alone! (Jn 1:14-18)
