After John takes us into the throne room to consider the Father, he then moves us to see the Son. All things start with the Father and then all things are made right by the Son. As the church considers all the brokenness on the ground, the church must understand it in light of the broken and slaughtered Lamb as He is seen in heaven. In the first five verses we see the universal cosmic scope of Christ's work in the face of chaos and calamity. In verses five to seven we see somewhat of a microscopic view on the crucifixion in the vision of Christ as crucified between the throne. (Re 5:5-7)
