Paul's love and care for the Philippian church is given as a picture of what gospel relationships look like. There is no sacrifice that was too much to stop Jesus from giving His life for the church, and so Paul sees that he should do the same. Our hope is so secure in the truth that we are beloved by God that we can live in our relationships in a way that portrays, proclaims, and extends gospel love to others. (Php 2:19-30)
