The Call to Self-Forgetful Otherness

After learning (Php 1:27-30) that redemption in Christ calls us to have a morality that is all about trusting the gospel’s accomplishments, to have a unique set of values that are defined by the cross and empowered by the cross, and having comforts that are uniquely qualified by the cross, we move onto another vital and essential call that comes from the centrality of Christ's provisions. The church that is all about the gospel's centrality must, in and through grace, be passionate about loving and caring for God's people in a manner that is consistent with the gospel. (Php 2:1-4)
