In our series in Galatians, Paul now answers the accusation that salvation by grace alone is a new teaching not consistent with the rest of the bible. Paul shows us clearly that from the very beginning people were blessed with salvation by what Christ would do and by themselves trusting in what Christ would do. We see that since the hope of believers has always been and only been Christ that we, too, must again rest that our only hope always is Christ's finished work. (Ga 3:6-23)
